🧭 Need a refresher before your child’s first day?
This is the same information we emailed you when you signed up. If you’re wondering what to bring, how check-in works, or when to arrive—everything you need is below.
📋 What to Do Before Camp
Please create your child’s profile on Brightwheel before their first day:
👉 Complete the Brightwheel Form
You can use the Brightwheel app or log in online. You’ll need to enter your child’s emergency contacts, authorized pickup list, allergy info, etc.
To check your personal Brightwheel check-in code:
- Open the Brightwheel mobile app
- Tap the three horizontal lines (top-left)
- Tap Edit Profile under your photo
- Scroll to the bottom to find your check-in code
You’ll use this code to check your child in and out each day.
🎒 What to Bring
- Lunch and morning/afternoon snacks (nut-free only)
- A change of clothes
- A towel (we sometimes get messy!)
- Weather-appropriate clothes (we go outside daily)
- A helmet if your child wants to use scooters/skateboards/etc.
Electronics should stay home. If your child brings a phone for communication, it must stay in their cubby during the day.
📍 What to Expect at Camp
- Location: 1867 Lake Pine Drive, Cary
- Drop-off: Starts at 8:00 AM
- Pickup: Between 3:00–4:00 PM
- Extended care: Available until 6:30 PM daily
We may adjust the schedule slightly based on weather or field trip timing. Any changes will be sent through Brightwheel.
🧠 Our Weekly Skills Themes (Mornings)
Each day begins with interactive lessons focused on executive functioning skills:
- Monday: Communication Skills
- Tuesday: Study Skills
- Wednesday: Time Management
- Thursday: Self-Regulation
- Friday: Organization Hacks
These help kids build real-world habits that reduce stress, improve independence, and build confidence in and out of school.
🚌 Field Trips & Daily Activities
We usually leave for field trips around 10:00 AM and return by 1:30 PM.
To view your child’s full schedule and permissions:
- Open the Brightwheel app
- Tap your child’s profile
- Tap the calendar icon (top row on iOS, top right on Android)
Each event has activity details, waiver links, and instructions.
