Students in grades 4-9 will benefit from a structured environment designed to support their academic success and foster essential study habits.
2026-2027 Priority Registration is Open
As a thank you to our current families, returning TOM families have exclusive access to After School Registration throught June 8th. Registation will open to the public on June 9th 2026 if space remains available.
Our After School Program provides structured academic support tailored to your child’s needs in a small-group setting. Each student works with a staff member and a small group of 2–3 peers to receive personalized, hands-on guidance for academic success.
Here’s how our program works:
• Daily Structure: A staff member helps your child review their agenda, prioritize assignments, and get started on tasks. While students work, staff rotate within the group to answer questions, help with studying, and provide guidance as needed.
• Assignment Support: Staff check assignments for accuracy and completeness before students submit their work. Immediate feedback and remediation are provided if incorrect answers reveal gaps in understanding, ensuring learning is reinforced.
• Teacher Communication: Our team communicates with teachers to confirm or clarify homework, project instructions, and due dates, ensuring nothing is missed.•
Student Advocacy: We assist students in drafting and sending emails to teachers about makeup work or grades (CC’ing staff and parents), helping them build critical self-advocacy skills.
• Parent Updates: At pickup, we share any updates about incomplete work or areas of concern to keep parents informed.
After School Schedule
3:00–4:00 – Arrival, Snack, and Preparation
Students arrive, enjoy a snack, and organize their materials with the help of staff. This includes reviewing agendas, checking teachers’ websites, and setting priorities for the day.
4:00–5:00 – Homework and Projects
Students work on homework and projects. Staff rotate to provide guidance, check assignments for accuracy, answer questions, and offer support as needed.
5:00–5:45 – Apex Community Park or Additional Work Time
Students participate in outdoor activities at Apex Community Park. Those needing extra time to complete assignments stay with staff to finish their work.
5:45–6:30 – Recreation and Dismissal
Students engage in group games or free time before being picked up.
After School Care Ends at 6:30 PM

We make after-school care convenient by offering transportation from the following schools to our program:
• Peak Charter Academy
• Apex Middle School
• Apex High School
• Lufkin Road Middle School
• Salem Middle School
Parent Drop-Off Option:
For families outside of these schools or preferring direct transportation, we also offer a parent drop-off option.
Our goal is to ensure a seamless transition for students from their school day to our program.
After School Program Rates:
The total amount is paid in installments so the price is consistent regardless of holidays/teacher work days/weather.

How to Enroll in Our After School Program:
- Step 1. Check School Eligibility
- Confirm we serve your child’s school by reviewing the “Schools We Serve” list.
- If your school isn’t listed, you can still enroll by choosing our Parent Drop‐Off option (arrival after 3:30 PM).
Step 2. Register and Pay the Annual Fee
- Verify we have space for your child. If available, you’ll see the “ASP Annual Registration Fee ($49)” product on the page.
- Click to purchase the $49 registration fee. This secures your spot.
Step 3. Provide Student Details
- Check your email after you submit your payment. We’ll reach out for the following info:
- A Brightwheel link so you can create your child’s account.
- A link to our ASP Student Learning Survey to help us tailor support to your child’s needs. This will include: Your child’s full name, school name (or confirm Drop‐Off), start date, and days attending (if not attending all 5 days).
Step 4. Receive Your Welcome Email
- Once we have your enrollment details, we’ll send a Welcome Email confirming your child’s program choices and additional details.
Step 5. Understand Your Payment Schedule
- Monthly payments are due on the 1st of each month.
- If you start mid‐month, we will prorate your first payment.
- First invoice is emailed to you with a direct link for manual payment.
- After the first payment, the card on file will be automatically charged on the 1st of each month unless you cancel.
