TOM Track Out Camp incorporates these 5 components each week:

The Organized Mind

We facilitate a smooth transition for your child into middle school or high school via a research-based soft skills curriculum. We will teach your child strategies to organize their day (time management and prioritizing), their space (work space, backpack, locker, etc..)  and their thinking. They will learn leadership, collaboration, and study skills to increase their productivity and relieve stress.

The Active Mind

We will provide your child with plenty of time to play while team building. We will rotate between structured activities and free play while ensuring that all children are happily participating and involved. We will have weekly field trips to nearby parks for nature walks, fishing, and team sports.

The Creative Mind

We believe that self-expression is important to development and emotional health. We will provide opportunities for your child to explore art, computers, and music, among other things so that they can find an outlet for their emotions. Hobbies are an excellent de-stresser and these activities will expose your child to options they may wish to pursue on their own.

The Expanding Mind

We provide career exploration in order to expand our children’s ideas for their future. Through career assessment inventories, in-house field trips, Skype Sessions with professionals in a variety of fields, our children will be exposed to a plethora of career choices that might work for them.

The Balanced Mind

As children become more independent, their responsibilities increase. This leads to stress which our children are unprepared to handle which can lead to disruptions in school and in the home. We provide strategies for children to cope with these uncomfortable feelings though prevention and maintenance. We will expose your child to techniques like meditation, visualization, yoga, tapping, and others so that your child can find the method that works best for them and continue to practice it in times of stress.
